All about cookery magic!

The art of cooking is a combination of
perfect preparation and pleasurable appreciation of food. The choice of ingredients in a dish makes a lot of difference; nevertheless, it is also the attitude of the cook that helps create the magic.
It is this magic that Nita Mehta-noted cookery expert-teaches her students. “Food cooked with affection shows in its immensely good taste; this is what one should know while cooking,” says Nita Mehta.
Her teaching mantra is simple ‘Just as a mother teaches her daughter’. Her students learn the basics of cooking so that everything they cook tastes delicious and is also creatively presented. So, don’t be surprised: if while explaining a Chinese dish she quizzes her students on the cooking time for basmati rice or how by adding sugar one can retain the green colour of cauliflower.
